Decarnin- The Legendary Designer by Neda Riazi

I enlist Christophe Décarnin as my favourite designer when he was the creative director of the fashion house Balmain. I commemorate his ability to make a woman feel equally edgy and sexy with a heavy emphasis on detailing and structured pieces. His $8000 and up price tags may seem hefty, but the sass and quality you received made it worth every penny. I mourned the loss of Décarnin’s magic touch on Balmain when it was announced he would be succeeded by Olivier Rousteing. However, with the release of the impressive pre-fall 2012 collection earlier this week, my mourning drew silent.
